03 An assessment clinic for people with tinnitus is held regularly at the premises of the Cork Deaf Association, 5 MacCurtain Street, Cork - usually available on one Wednesday each month. You will need a referral letter from your GP, but the assessment itself is free. The assessment takes about an hour and consists of an audiological assessment by a qualified audiologist, followed by the opportunity to meet with tinnitus group members and staff of the centre to discuss any questions you may have. We have a good variety of information leaflets on tinnitus and on approaches to managing it, and these are available without charge. You may also download copies of some of these leaflets from this website – go to [downloads LINK]
04 Members of our Association are kept up to date on tinnitus matters nationally and internationally through the ITA’s quarterly newsletter Quiet Ireland, and also receive the British Tinnitus Association’s newsletter QUIET
